Truffle lovers can look forward to a surprise at the restaurant Ochsen 1596 in the Drei-Häuser-Hotel Caspar until 28 January.
The Drei-Häuser-Hotel Caspar in Muri/AG, which opened in 2022 after extensive renovations, has two restaurants, “Ochsen 1596” and “Die Gaststube Adler” under the culinary leadership of head chef Sebastian Rabe, who has been awarded 15 GaultMillaupoints. With his delicately interpreted natural cuisine, Rabe makes casual fine dining dreams come true. From 17 to 28 January, on Wednesday through Saturday evenings, guests can enjoy Rabe’s gourmet menus, which can be ordered with an exclusive truffle supplement during this period.
Delicious Truffle Delight
Sebastian Rabe’s truffle highlight in January consists of his gourmet menu at a price of CHF 97 per person with an optional truffle supplement that can be ordered with any of the four to seven courses. The individual courses are designed to offer a delicious taste experience with or without «tartufo». In addition to Italian black truffles, regional truffles are also served, at a surcharge of CHF 18 per course. Rabe’s gourmet menu celebrates sustainability, regionality and creativity, with fire, smoke and different types of wood playing an important role. The gourmet menu is accompanied by wines from the hotel’s own vaulted cellar.
Those who want to enjoy the evening without worrying about the journey home can stay at the Drei-Häuser-Hotel Caspar, which consists of the Adler, Ochsen and Wolf buildings and offers 50 rooms for overnight stays from CHF 155.
